Spring Mountain Sahara's Senior Adult Behavioral Health Program is designed to treat the mental health and physical needs of the older adult (age 55 and over). Spring Mountain Sahara is a 30-bed facility that is dedicated to helping the older adult during life's changes. Services are provided on an inpatient basis or partial-hospitalization program.

Spring Mountain Sahara is committed to helping improve the quality of life for patients and their families utilizing appropriate psychiatric crisis interventions for those with symptoms such as:

• Depression

• Suicidal Attempts or Threats

• Loss of Appetite, Sleeplessness or Isolation

• Psychosis

• Mood Disorders

• Anger, Aggression or Combative Behaviors

• Bipolar Disorder

• Schizophrenia

• Anxiety-Related Disorders

• Chemical Dependency & Substance Abuse

Our specialty programs include dual diagnosis for individuals with co-occurring psychiatric and substance disorders.

Within 24 hours of admission to Spring Mountain Sahara, you or your loved one will receive a psychiatric evaluation by a qualified psychiatrist. The services provided include 24-hour nursing care, a secure setting, medication management, individual, family, and group therapy, the development of an effective treatment and aftercare plan, as well as restoration to an optimal functioning level.
